Email Request for Venue

Dear sir/madam, Tackling food waste and innovating education: The #EduFoodHack hybrid hackathon is here! Our school is putting together a special event in which our students work together with classrooms across Europe in order to solve complex issues around food waste in the real world. Thoroughly researching problems, processes and prototyping possible solutions, they will take up a challenge that society is desperately wanting to solve. By the end of this intensive educative event the stories of our student-teams and their final solutions will be presented to a jury and an audience of peers, family members, teachers, innovators and others.

In order to make this final exhibition truly special, one of the most important things is having a proper venue to host our student-teams and our guests. We are emailing you because we are exploring the possibilities for venues in which we can conduct the final exhibition of our #EduFoodHack hackathon. We plan to have around *x amount* to *y amount of* attendees and have a few questions about the facilities that might be available to us if we are to make use of your venue.

Firstly, is there enough space for this amount of attendees and is there a stage available that has a large monitor or projector? Is there a microphone and an audio setup? And would there be enough tables available for our participants to display their prototypes and seats for an audience to sit at during central presentations? Are there enough sanitary facilities? Is the venue easily accessible through public transport? Finally, are there any catering facilities available?
