Press Release
Dear sir/madam, Tackling food waste and innovating education: The #EduFoodHack hybrid hackathon is here! Our school is putting together a special event in which our students work together with classrooms across Europe in order to solve complex issues around food waste in the real world. Thoroughly researching problems, processes and prototyping possible solutions, they will take up a challenge that society is desperately wanting to solve. By the end of this intensive educative event the stories of our student-teams and their final solutions will be presented to a jury and an audience of peers, family members, teachers, innovators and others. This final presentation will be taking place as an exhibition.
We are contacting you because we would like to invite you to cover this special moment and show the world what kind of solutions have been thought up by our students and how they have experienced the hackathon. We would love to speak to you about our plans, our mission and the "why" behind this hackathon so we can better inspire others to join the movement of reducing food waste and innovating education. We look forward to your reply!
